professional negligence

Chris has been involved in an estimated 300 claims of professional negligence against lawyers.

This includes advising claimants as well as defendant insurers. A large portion of Chris’s work in this area has been claims involving property and conveyancing – Chris was actively involved in the ‘lender litigation’ of the 1990s and its recent resurgence.

Chris’s work for pension schemes and their advisers has given him a close knowledge of the law and practice of final salary schemes.
